Many years ago when I taught grade 5 at another school, I used to send home an
" ask me about" newsletter. The idea behind this newsletter was to start a conversation between students and their parents about what was happening at school. Instead of writing a newsletter that detailed what we were learning about, the newsletter had prompts so students could engage in meaningful conversations about school with their parents. Soooooo....I'm going to start "ask me about " blog posts so you can do the same! If your lucky, maybe the kids will even teach you a bit about drumming;)
