On Monday, February 8th, the primary students kicked off African Heritage Month by seeing a production of “ Darkness and the Butterfly” by the Little Red Theatre Company. Using masks, movement and puppetry, the bilingual retells an African legend that tells the story of a young girl who overcomes her fear of the dark. Staff and students alike enjoyed this special event.
