This year is the second year of the girls empowerment group. This group consists of Gr. 7 & 8 girls. We meet every Wednesday at noon. In this group we go on field trips to conferences, plays and we have many group discussions.
Last year in the Girls Empowerment Group, we had many challenges and we had many experiences. For example we learned about our body image and how looks aren’t important, your personality is. It only matters what’s on the inside. We have also learned about self esteem and self defence. We have been to conferences, workshops and have done many other wonderful activities. We read, learned and wrote about Women in history who made a difference.
We hope to have an even greater experience this year!
